Eligibility
Any New York State local government, government-related association, school, school district, fire district, fire company, fire department, special use district, or government-related not-for-profit organization may join the Digital Towpath Cooperative to take advantage of all the offerings. These currently are CMS (website), Email, Email Archiving, and Electronic Records Management System.
Registration
In order to complete the registration process, provide the following three items.
- Completed registration form (available via link in right-hand column)
- Domain name specified on registration form
- Confirmation that the decision to join Digital Towpath is an official action of your executive board. There are two ways to comply:
- A copy of a resolution affirming membership (see sample below).
- A letter, on official letterhead, from your Chief Executive Officer or designee.
Documentation must be received within 60 days of your initial registration.Documents can be emailed to support@digitaltowpath.org or mailed to:

These Services are included in all memberships, but require additional Information. Please fill out the forms below to make use of these services.
Now that your a member
Getting Help. Questions and issues related to your website, email, email archiving and Electronic Records Management System should be entered at our Help Desk. Support for these systems in included as part of your membership in the cooperative.
Billing. When your website is ready setup and ready for you to add content, an invoice for your annual cooperative membership will be mailed. If you require a completed voucher, please send it as soon as possible, or attach it to an email to support@digitaltowpath.org. Most formats are acceptable, however PDF is preferred. Subsequent billings for your membership will be sent annually based on your registration date.
